"Juliet" swims like a romantic in the underwater reeds. That's why I etched the floral "tattoo" on her beautiful shell. Painful to watch on land, the turtle glides like a space ship in the warm waters of Florida and beyond. I fell in love with turtles and studied them while illustrating a children's book last year, and wanted to make fine art homage to them ever since.
