There are only 2 prints left of this piece -- the storyline is this: somehow a violin winds up by the side of the road and it has fallen on an apple core. The elements wear down the violin and encourage the tree till we have this resurrection. The broken violin takes on a brand new life. This is from a "Broken Instrument" series that I still work on now and then. It's thematic for my life and my world view.
